Who we are
IPV was founded on the back of a trusted partnership between Jesse Ipsaro-Passione and father-in-law Steven Veletta. Following decades of Steve’s success as a limestone mason, then builder (Vele Bern), came the birth of IPV Construction combining Steve’s knowledge and expertise with Jesse’s energetic construction vision.
As a locally owned, operated and managed family business, our goal is to provide you a personalised and customised experience that may not be offered by the larger companies without compromising on build quality. At IPV we provide a building experience like no-other, with one-on-one contact with the Director from the initial consult through to project handover.
Jesse Ipsaro-Passione (Director and Qualified Civil Engineer) started his construction career at a young age, often accompanying his father, Joe Ipsaro-Passione, to sites across Perth during school holidays as a child. Once finishing high-school, Jesse worked for his father as an estimator then project manager at Perth Tiling and Stone whilst completing his engineering studies at the University of Western Australia. Upon graduating as an Engineer, Jesse worked as a full-time engineer throughout Perth, the south-west and north-western WA across a myriad of complex projects.
After six years, Jesse took the next step to work on his own projects and partnered with his to-be father-in-law, Steve Veletta and started IPV Construction.
Steven Veletta (Nominated Supervisor) started his construction career at a young age on his father’s quarry in Toodyay. It was here that Steve would learn the ropes in becoming a Limestone Mason under the guidance of his Father, Remo Veletta. Remo was a respected member of the business community and provided the slate style stone which became very fashionable and can be seen on homes all around Perth.
Over the years, Steve moved from Diesel Mechanic to Limestone Mason to certified Builder, where he has completed many complex residential builds, subdivisions and industrial projects.
